Rigid or Setup Boxes are more of a specialty item. They are most easily described as Gameboard Boxes or Chocolate Boxes.
Rigid / Setup Boxes are typically wrapped with litho paper (printed or unprinted), specialty paper or even a foil. There’s a wide variety of wrapping materials that can be used and we will work closely with you to find the material that best fits your needs.
Styles
Rigid / Setup Boxes are generally rectangular in shape and come in sets, with both a base and a lid. They are very strong and rigid, and are “non-bending” and therefore cannot be folded flat like a folding carton.
Materials
Rigid / Setup Boxes are typically constructed from Non-Bending Chipboard. The most widely used Chipboard is Plain Chip (uncoated kraft both sides) and White Vat (uncoated bleached white both sides). There are other specialty chipboards available, but they are typically more expensive with minimum order requirements.
Minimum order quantity 2,500.
Vinyl Boxes
Like Rigid / Setup Boxes, Vinyl Boxes are more of a specialty item. They are most easily as the clear, rectangular boxes that you see in Gift Stores containing greeting cards or other stationary. Vinyl Boxes are typically plain, printed or hotstamped.
Styles
Vinyl Boxes are generally square or rectangular in shape and come in sets, with both a base and a lid. They typically are not very strong and therefore are not more than 2 to 3 inches in depth.
Materials
Vinyl Boxes are typically constructed from PVC, which is a clear plastic transparent material.
Minimum order quantity 1,000.
